What to expect on my first visit?

We gather each week as a family of believers to focus on the truth of God’s word and the grace that is ours in Christ Jesus. We proclaim God’s truth, sing God’s truth, pray God’s truth, share life together in submission to God’s truth – that by it we may be transformed. We collectively worship, not as individuals, but as a community.

  • Core Seminars 9:30
  • Worship Gathering 10:30

We have a parking space adjacent to the church building. If spaces are full, curbside parking along Fillmore St. and 9th Ave. are available.

We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children and so we strive to support them however we can. Parents are free to drop their kids off in Mercy Kids – a safe, fun, bible-centered environment for children on Sunday mornings. We offer family integrated worship and encourage parents to bring their children into the main worship gathering to celebrate the gospel together.

Services last about 90 minutes and you will find an informal crowd and atmosphere. We have intentionally structured the music, teaching, prayer and ordinances to reinforce the gospel and lead us in genuine worship. We celebrate communion to remain centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus as our source of hope and salvation.
We typically teach through books of the Bible and always remain rooted in the gospel. The music is led by a full band most Sundays and is often a mix of hymns and modern worship songs.

We are a diverse family of believers: ethnically, generationally, and socio-economically. As a guest, you will be greeted by church members and shown hospitality. We desire to make guests feel welcome and wanted, mainly because we worship a hospitable God who passionately pursues us and welcomes us into his family through His Son.

We believe that teenagers are an important, integral part of the body of Christ and we value their participation in the worship service. Therefore, we have intentionally not structured any program that would isolate them from the rest of the body on Sundays.
