We will begin our in-person gatherings on 9/6! We are a diverse family of believers who gather to worship in both English and Spanish each week. Our worship gathering will include a time of singing, praying, hearing the Word preached, and taking the Lord’s Supper together. Here are some guidelines that help you as you prepare to join us—
Lord’s Supper: Our greeters will be distributing the Lord’s Supper elements and will be wearing masks & gloves at the entry way.
Masks: Masks/face coverings will be required for adults & children 12 or older at all times while inside the church building. MHC will not be able to provide masks for everyone, so please bring your own.
Sanitizer: We will try to always have hand-sanitizing stations available, but bring your own to be safe!
Physical distancing: Maintaining a physical distance of at least 6 feet from others who are not part of your household is strongly encouraged.
We ask that you only sit with those who are part of your household and we will have chairs spaced between you and another household.
Mercy Kids and Bible Studies: Some have asked about Mercy Kids and Youth- we are suspending our 9:00 Sunday activities including in-person Bible studies until further notice. The Women’s Bible Study will continue on Zoom every Sunday from 9-10am.
Family Integrated Worship: During our gatherings, childcare is not available. However, kids of all ages are encouraged to attend the service with their parents. We enjoy family integrated worship each week and welcome the extra noise! Parents, we know that it’s difficult to keep children from mingling with others, but please try to keep your children with you at all times.
Building Access: We will be limiting building access to the areas required to hold our gathering in the main room. Bathrooms will be available.
If you are feeling sick or have exhibited any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.
If you suspect you have COVID-19 and/or receive a positive COVID-19 diagnosis after you attended a MHC gathering, please let an elder know immediately or email us at Admin@mercyhillphoenix.com
