The Public Square

Everyone can get in on this! We want to take real Christianity into every sphere where life exists and extend the welcome of Christ through loving, serving, advocating, and proclaiming the gospel in both word and deed.

Mercy Hill Church seeks to cultivate an inviting culture, an evangelistic culture, and a merciful culture.

We seek to cultivate an inviting culture. We extend the welcome of Jesus to everyone. Mercy Hill Church looks like our bus stop. We are a diverse and inclusive church where everyone can find access to a personal relationship with the real Jesus and find belonging with an authentic community.

We seek to cultivate an evangelistic culture. Every Christian has the joyful obligation of proclaiming the gospel both in word and deed. We regularly offer equipping and training in how to effectively share the story of God’s redeeming love by using everyday conversations wherever we live, work, and play.

Mercy Hill loves college students and participates in collegiate outreach on the ASU Downtown Campus. Our staff is comprised of self-supported collegiate missionaries and apprentices that come alongside leaders to invest in the lives of college students on and off campus.

We seek to cultivate a merciful culture. Members are encouraged to identify needs of others as they build new relationships and come alongside in tangible ways. Our prayer is that Jesus would give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to respond to needs of others wherever we live, work, and play. We simply want to see where God is at work, and join in. We also seek to collaborate with city partners to provide relief, restoration, and redevelopment work with those in need.
